Mission Statement

Import BLUMEX Export BV is a Dutch company and a full subsidiary of Nieuw BLUMEX Holding BV. BLUMEX imports, handles and exports flowers and plants. BLUMEX owns a modern company building, which is linked directly to the largest flower and plant auction of the world. 

BLUMEX has the following mission:

• Creating a professional, flexible and quality directed organisation, able to adapt to market and product developments quickly.
• Developing a reputation within the product sector based on delivered quality.
• Ability of distinction of competitors.
• Increasing the turnover based on synergy in a concentrating market.
• Optimizing the stockholder value by a profitable turnover, and
• Creating continuity in the employment and further development of a ‘learning organization’.

BLUMEX applies to delivering quality in a fast changing market. This needs a pro-active attitude. Therefore the management of processes and the careful and professional maintenance of relations with suppliers and customers are indispensable.

In order to realise the mission an integral, target- and solution directed organization is necessary. An organization in which all available company means, co-operation and mutual respect have a high priority. This signifies a focus on teamwork, awareness of the costs, margin and the quality of the product to be delivered, internal as well as external.
